Why Kilimanjaro?
I’m climbing Kilimanjaro in September 2025 to celebrate stepping into my 30s—and I want to share this experience with like-minded adventurers. No hidden costs, no commercial agenda—just an unforgettable journey to the Roof of Africa with a great group of people!
Kili has been my dream for years. There’s something magical about standing at the highest point in Africa, looking down at the world from 5,895m. It’s a challenge, a journey, and a celebration all in one. I want this to be an epic milestone—and I’d love for you to be part of it!

TRIP OVERVIEW
Trip overview
- Dates: 15 – 20 September 2025 (arrival the night before)
- Route: Machame (6 Days, 5 Nights)
- Elevation: 5,895m (19,341 ft)
- Group Type: Open (if 6+ of us, we get a private trek!)
Why the Machame Route?
This route is known as the “Whiskey Route” and is one of the most scenic and successful ways to summit Kili. With diverse landscapes and gradual acclimatization, it’s a fantastic option for those looking to challenge themselves while soaking in jaw-dropping views.
What's included?
You’re getting a premium Kilimanjaro experience with a reputable company, Monkey Adventures. Everything is taken care of, so you can focus on the adventure.
- Professional mountain guides, porters & a cook
- All park & conservation fees
- Quality camping equipment (tents, mattress, mess tent, tables & chairs)
- All meals on the mountain & purified drinking water
- Emergency oxygen & first-aid support
- Summit certificate
What's not included
- Flights, Tanzania visa, travel insurance
- Personal gear (hiking boots, sleeping bag, etc.)
- Tips for the crew (this is standard on Kilimanjaro)
- Extra meals & drinks in Moshi
Cost Breakdown & Payment
- Trek Package: $1,598 per person (circa £1300)
- Pre-Trek Stay: 2 nights in Moshi (circa £40 a night)
- Transfers: Arusha to Moshi circa £80 per vehicle (however, taxi and bus options possible)
TOTAL: circa £1450
